I started as a journalist…

I wrote about crime, government, corporate strategy and real estate for newspapers. I learned to listen for zesty quotes, read upside-down, and chase a source in heels.

then I moved to marketing real estate,

I led business development for commercial real estate investment firms, drove PR to boost a brand from 17th to 3rd in top-of-mind awareness, and created content marketing strategy.

then I pivoted to marketing software,

I led brand and content marketing to drive >90% of pipeline for fast-growing tech brands. I launched 6 global brands, dozens of software products, and logged 250k+ miles traveling to speak at events.

and wrote a few books, too.

In my oodles of spare time (ha), I wrote eight steamy adult novels that sold 500,000 copies, a children’s book, and published both business books and story collections.

I've learned that one good story beats a thousand stats.
